Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is a mother of Russian origin who is born in Afghanistan. Mahendru is proficient of German Russian English. Annet Mahendru was born to an Indian father as well as mother of a Russian mother. When she was 11, she created a choreography that earned her a slot on German TV as a graceful Russian snow maiden, who turns into an energetic Indian dancer. She graduated from high school and was awarded a bachelor's degree from the Department of English at the University of New York. Following high school, she attended classes in acting at HB but left for improv classes at Groundlings School. She then played a variety of roles in comedy. Her parents were Hindu and Indian father Ghanshan K Mahendru and who was a Russian mother Olga. She moved from Afghanistan to East Meadow New York, together with her father after she was 13, and is now starring alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel in FX's The Americans. In FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is one of her best TV performance. She also had recurring roles in The Following, a Fox show The Following as well as the NBC show The Blacklist.
